Circadia Advertising & Marketing Policy
Effective Date: Dec 11th, 2025
Applies To: All Circadia estheticians, retailers, wholesale customers, and Authorized Circadia Retailer Dropshipping Partners.
1. Purpose of This Policy
Circadia is committed to protecting the integrity of our professional brand, ensuring fair competition among estheticians, and supporting a high-quality retail ecosystem. In pursuit of this commitment, the following Advertising & Marketing Guidelines define what is permitted, restricted, and prohibited for all partners promoting Circadia products or services.
This policy exists to:
- Protect our professional channel.
- Maintain brand reputation and compliance.
- Ensure fairness among estheticians and retail partners.
- Prevent pricing erosion and unauthorized advertising tactics.
- Support the growth of legitimate Circadia Retailer businesses.
2. Overview of the Circadia Retail Ecosystem
Circadia supports two approved methods for retail sales:
A. Circadia Retailer Dropshipping Program (Preferred & Approved)
This is the only authorized form of dropshipping, replacing all previous third-party or independent dropshipping practices.
- Circadia collects payment.
- Circadia manages fulfillment and shipping.
- The esthetician receives a portion of revenue and shared customer data.
- Product pricing is protected by secure login on the replicated Circadia Retailer website.
B. Independent Inventory-Based Retailing
Estheticians may continue to purchase wholesale inventory and sell through:
- Their own in-house boutique
- Their own e-commerce website*
- Local events or in-spa settings
*Pricing for retail products sold online must still remain hidden behind a secure login (see Section 5).
Discontinued Practice: Unauthorized Dropshipping
Past forms of independent dropshipping (Shopify shipping apps, third-party warehouses, Fulfilled-By-Esthetician dropshipping, etc.) are no longer permitted.
All partners must transition to the Circadia Retailer Dropshipping Program, available through the Circadia+ Business Accelerator program, to remain compliant.
3. Advertising & Marketing Rules by Platform
Below is a breakdown of what is allowed and what is not allowed across digital platforms.
A. Paid Search Advertising (Google, Bing, Yahoo) – Prohibited
Estheticians and retail partners may not:
- Bid on Circadia-branded terms
- Bid on Circadia product names
- Run Google Shopping or product listing ads
- Use Circadia trademarks in pay-per-click ad copy
- Post pages that expose retail pricing to crawling or indexing
Reasoning:
Paid search captures people already searching for Circadia. Allowing bidding on these terms creates channel conflict and undermines our professional network. It is standard for brands—particularly those with distribution partners—to restrict affiliate and retailer bidding on brand terms.
Permitted Exceptions
Partners may run search ads for their own business name, general skincare keywords, or treatment-related search terms as long as Circadia product names or pricing are not included.
B. Social Media Advertising (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) – Allowed & Encouraged
Partners may run paid social ads to:
- Promote services, treatments, or education featuring Circadia
- Build audiences
- Send traffic to their Circadia Retailer Dropshipping Store
- Send traffic to their own inventory-based online store (with login-restricted pricing)
- Promote sample kits and introductory offers (when approved)
Requirements
- Product pricing cannot be shown publicly in ads.
- Retail pricing must remain behind a secure login.
- Claims must follow Circadia’s approved language and cannot imply medical outcomes or guaranteed results.
- Ads must be tasteful, professional, and brand-aligned.
Prohibited Uses
- Ads that promise discounts not authorized by Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) guidelines.
- Ads that position Circadia as a mass-market or “consumer-first” brand.
- Ads implying over-the-counter availability outside licensed professional settings.
C. SEO (Organic Search) – Allowed With Restrictions
Partners may create:
- Educational blog posts
- Ingredient spotlights
- Treatment descriptions
- Local SEO content (Google Business Profile, service pages, etc.)
- Product education pages without pricing
Restrictions
- Retail pricing cannot be publicly indexed.
- Product names can be included in organic content, but not in paid search ads.
- No misleading claims, medical claims, or unapproved before/after images.
D. Influencer Marketing & Content Creators – Allowed With Guidelines
Influencers may:
- Educate their audience about Circadia products and treatments
- Demonstrate usage
- Share before/after results following Circadia standards
- Promote purchase via the esthetician’s Circadia Retailer link
They may not:
- Publish retail pricing
- Offer unauthorized discounts
- Claim products cure or treat medical conditions
4. Trademark Use & Brand Protection
Partners may not:
- Use Circadia in domain names
- Use Circadia logos or trademarks without permission
- Create Circadia-branded websites or landing pages outside approved assets
- Replicate Circadia product descriptions verbatim on public retail sites (for SEO protection)
5. Pricing & E-Commerce Policy
Pricing Must Remain Behind Secure Login
No retail partner may display Circadia retail prices publicly on:
- Websites
- Google Shopping feeds
- Social media posts
- Paid ads
- Marketplace listings
MAP Commitment
All partners must adhere to Circadia’s Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) guidelines. Violations may result in suspension of ordering privileges or removal from the Circadia Retailer program.
6. Enforcement Notice
Circadia has historically allowed broad flexibility in how partners advertised and displayed products. As our professional network expands—and with the launch of the Circadia Retailer Program—we are now moving into a phase of active monitoring and enforcement.
This includes:
- Identifying publicly displayed pricing
- Requesting removal of non-compliant listings
- Blocking unauthorized Google indexing
- Prohibiting paid search bidding on Circadia terms
- Evaluating partner advertising for accuracy and compliance
Non-compliance may result in:
- Notice and required corrective action
- Temporary suspension of dropshipping access
- Termination of wholesale buying privileges
Our goal is fairness—not punishment. Every esthetician deserves equal opportunity to grow their business without competing against unauthorized or unfair advertising tactics.
