Michael Q. Pugliese Honored with the 2025 Beauty Changes Lives Legacy Award in Wellness
At the 2025 Beauty Changes Lives Gala held on May 31 in Orlando, Florida, Michael Q. Pugliese, CEO of Circadia, was honored with the Legacy Award in Wellness—a prestigious accolade recognizing industry leaders who have made transformative contributions through innovation, mentorship, education, and philanthropy.
A third-generation skincare leader, Pugliese has carried forward the legacy of his grandfather, Dr. Peter T. Pugliese, blending science and soul to advance professional skincare and esthetic education. Under his visionary leadership, Circadia has become globally recognized for its cutting-edge formulations and steadfast support of skincare professionals.
Pugliese’s unwavering commitment to education is evident in initiatives like Circadia University, a robust online platform featuring over 40 comprehensive courses designed to elevate knowledge and technical expertise in skin care. His philanthropic efforts extend further through the Sage Michaela Lucas “Timing is Everything” Scholarship, established in honor of his daughter. The scholarship supports BIPOC students pursuing careers in esthetics, skincare formulation, and cosmetic chemistry—underscoring Pugliese’s dedication to diversity, inclusion, and opportunity.
Joined on stage by his daughter Sage, Pugliese delivered an emotional acceptance speech reflecting on the power of legacy:
“This award bears the name ‘Legacy,’ and that word echoes deeply in my life. This award lives in every student we uplift, every life we touch, and every opportunity we create.”
Since its inception, the scholarship fund has awarded over $100,000, representing just the beginning of Circadia’s ongoing commitment to education in the industry.
